Savvy Caregiver® is a proven, nationally recognized training program for family and friend caregivers of someone with memory loss, dementia, or Alzheimer’s disease. It is in-person, and consists of six weekly 2 hour sessions. It starts August 7th from 1:30 - 3:30pm Classes are free of charge and are interactive lessons with discussions led by a St. John's Community Caregiver Specialist. They are designed to give caregivers relevant knowledge, skills, and mastery to support the person living with dementia and to take care of themselves. View the Flyer

Welcome to Jarvis Township Senior Center! We are happy you’re here! Since 1981 we have enhanced the lives of older adults through, fun, education, fitness, and most importantly, friendship and support.
Please take a look at our calendar and newsletter to see what might interest you. Perhaps you would enjoy day trips, or an overnight trip? Maybe a good old-fashioned game of Bingo or Pokeno? Would you like to learn more about the world around you through our “Live and Learn Series”? Would you like to be a part of our fabulous volunteer team? You can also stay fit with our “Sit N Get Fit” chair exercise class, and our monthly luncheon brings dozens of folks out to enjoy a good meal and great entertainment.
